I have begun explaining to Val the ways living in an apartment will be different than living in a house. Thankfully our only neighbors will be downstairs, so I told her how we need to be respectful of them and not jump/skp/hop on the floor. Her reply:
"But Mommy, then what will I do when I'm happy?"
I'm hoping our neighbors will be away at work all day long so un-restrained happy hopping can take place some of the time. =)
(Oh yeah. Also, we're moving to a 3rd floor apartment in two weeks.)
Aw...happy hopping:). That balcony might be a good place, huh?
ReplyDeleteWe live on the 2nd floor of a three-family building and I've basically just accepted that our downstairs neighbor must really hate us. I console myself by thinking that Maddy goes to bed by 8:30 so the noise probably isn't THAT bad, right?Good luck with your move.
