It's a whole new world!

OK, I know I said I wasn't going to talk about politics. And I won't, after this. =)

People. The world is not over. President (elect) Obama has a HUGE job ahead of him and however well you think he may or may not perform he deserves our respect for his position.

One of my Facebook friends said this and I think it's good so I'll repeat it here: "I want to clarify: Obama is not this country's Savior. Let's leave that to Jesus Christ. I look forward to praying for our new leadership!"

And THAT is all I'm going to say about THAT. Oh one more thing. So thankful I get to vote to represent my views but also sooooooo glad elections are over!

Polio vaccine or jail. You choose.

Because ultimately, the government decides what's best for your kids. Not you.

I haven't declined any of Kem's vaccines but holy cow this seems a bit extreme.  Just who exactly should determine what constitutes "endangering" children anyhow? Parents can't be trusted anymore, or can they? I had already heard about Maryland school officials forcing parents to vaccinate or face truancy charges and I'm pretty sure I'm not OK with that. But now Belgian parents being sentenced to five months in prison? Really!?! So, what, serve the sentence and then you're free to vaccinate (or not vaccinate) as you see fit? Five months per vaccination you decline? Just how far is this going to go, anyhow? I'll be interested to see what happens.

Also, what's up with this? Odd specifications for just falcon food and that would have to be a LOT of falcons. I'm surprised they didn't specify a strain.
