Me: Would you like to lick the bowl?

Val: Yes, Mommy!!!

I hand her the bowl. She promptly sticks her head inside the bowl and begins to lick the sides.

Me: Val. You can use your fingers, too.

Val: Oh.

She takes her dough-covered head out of the bowl and continues the process using her fingers.

Never let it be said she doesn't follow directions.
