Ding dong the wicked rat is dead!
I'm not sure which dog to thank but I suspect it was the one with both front paws.
Now I try not to cringe as I think about the times each dog has poked a friendly nose in Kate's face. Oh well. I'm sure she'll be exposed to far worse germs than those of a dead rat. I just can't think of any right now.
I'd vote for the 3 legged dog. He's caught birds and other misc. things around here (compared to his 4 legged cohort).
