Perhaps by the time I move to WordPress this post will be so burried that no one will notice, read it, and commence with the hatred. I want to record this bit of info in a place with all my other pregnancy info and this is the easiest place to do it. Probably no one will understand, really, except my Mom and sister.
I am in my eighth month of pregnancy. I have gained 33 pounds. When standing with my feet pressed together not a single part of one leg touches the other - STILL - from my ankles to my thighs. I thought at least my thighs would touch, but no. Just goes to show how chicken legged I really am. If my thighs don't touch when I'm pregnant I doubt they ever will.
The last several nights I've been waking up frequently during the night. I'm not tired; I feel like I could get out of bed at whatever time (2 am, 3 am) and get ready for the day and go to work. The middle of the day is when the sluggishness hits me and I feel like taking a nap. Maybe the baby is adjusting me to her schedule early. How considerate of her. =)
My friend just gave birth to a baby boy one week before her due date. I'm so happy and excited for them. I'm also thankful she didn't go past her due date because I want to use the same birthing coach they did (happens to be her mother-in-law; happens to be the most experienced, wisest woman ever in this realm) and if she had been late then Superman and I probably wouldn't be able to meet with her until much closer to our due date.
My thighs touch enough for the both of you, don't sweat it.
ReplyDeleteMy sincere apologies for the non-touching thighs genetics. You may as well resign yourself to it: If you're like me, your thighs will never touch each other. Maybe YOUR kids might have a chance for some degree of normalcy...
